Skills Development Project (SDP):
  • Sewing operators: 5885 were trained in 10 Governorates for 125 ready made garment companies “Cairo, Giza, Kalubia, Alexandria, Sharkia, PortSaid, Menofia, Gharbia, El Suez, El Menia,Assiut, Dakahlia”.
  • Upgrade Weaving workers: Train 120 technicians in El Nile company in Giza
Technical and Vocational Education and Training Reform Project (TVET):
  • Develop training packages:
    • Sewing machines operators basic training
    • Sewing machines operators level 2
    • Quality
    • Maintenance
    • Upgrade supervisors
    • Pattern making
    • Time and Motion Study
  • 28 Master trainers have been tested and accredited
  • Implement TOT courses: 848 trainers have been trained on the developed training packages
  • Upgrade TVET institutions: Build capacity for 29 Public training centers (Provide technical consultancy to equip training institutions with Ready Made Garment Machines matching the industrial needs (machines specifications, locations, layout, auditing,….etc)
    Assist in the training of 4734 workers inside garment companies
  • Establishment of Center of Competence (COC)
  • Develop Technical Glossary:a compendium of terms most frequently encountered in the ready made garment sector
Industrial Training Council (ITC):
  • Implement sewing operators training:Training of 90 workers in El Mahala El Kobra ( Training package, training of trainers , etc...).
  • Upgrade 25 Technical Secondary schools:Upgrade 89 Practical and pedagogical Teachers in 9 governorates
GTZ- SME project
  • Implement “Fabric Optimization Training Course:24 Cutting and Spreading Managers in 13 companies.
    This training was implemented in cooperation with GHERZI company
  • Measure the Impact of the training on the garment companies:Traintex expert has been assigned to assess the impact of the training course on the RMG companies.
Education for Employment Foundation (EFE)
  • Implement “Merchandiser Training Course”:train graduates on the Merchandiser course and recruit them in the textile companies

Cooperation with governmental bodies
  • Ministry of Interior affairs:offer consultancy to set up a new production unit in the ministry clothing factory.
  • In the Frame of the Training and Employment program, TRAINTEX is cooperating with the following organizations charged to nominate youth want to be trained recruited in the RMG companies
